PRINTED TODAY, NOT ORDERED AND WAITED FOR

The personalized card sets in this category run $30 to $60, and you send in your details and wait. This is the same result as an instant download: 204 cards that are already drawn and already written, in two print sizes, on US Letter, ready for the printer you already own. Buy it at nine in the evening, cut it at nine-thirty.

204 CARDS THAT ALREADY HAVE THE WORDS ON THEM

Not a picture with a blank line under it. Every card carries the wording, so you are not inventing a phrase at seven in the morning with one shoe in your hand.

Fourteen categories: Morning Routine · Bedtime Routine · Washing & Self-Care · Getting Dressed · Meals & Eating · School Day · Home Jobs · Going Out · Places We Go · Play & Free Time · Break & Body Signals · Time & Transitions · How I Feel · Write Your Own.

Including the ones usually sold as separate listings: the dentist, the haircut, the doctor, the grocery store, the airport, the birthday party, the swimming pool, the restaurant, the library.

Two sizes of every single card. Standard 2.00 x 2.40 in, twelve per page, fits a 2x3 laminating pouch. Mini 1.25 x 1.50 in, thirty per page, for a strip that goes in a pencil case or on a lanyard.

TWELVE BOARDS, NOT ONE

Eight routine boards - My Morning, My Bedtime, Getting Ready to Go Out, My School Day, After School, Bath Time, My Home Jobs, and a blank one you name yourself. Each has nine card-sized slots and an "all done" pocket.

Plus four boards for the moments in between: First → Then, Now · Next · Then, an "I choose" board, and a "steps I finished today" page.

There is also a print-scale test page with a six-inch ruler on it. Print that one first and you will know in five seconds whether the rest of the pack is going to come out at the right size.

THE PART NO OTHER LISTING INCLUDES: A TRACKER

Every other set in this category is material. None of them measure anything.

This one comes with a spreadsheet. After you run a routine, you write one line per step: the date, the routine, the step, and one of five options for how much help it took -

  • Hand-over-hand help
  • Showed how, then they did it
  • A reminder in words
  • Did it on their own
  • Skipped today

Twenty seconds for a six-step routine. Then the sheet does the rest:

  • Every step, all time - how often it has been logged, how many of those were done alone, the average
  • The first three sessions against the most recent three, per step
  • Where each step stands right now: Independent · Improving · Steady · Needs more support · Getting started
  • Twelve months side by side, with a chart of average independence by month
  • A month-against-last-month page that names the biggest move in each direction

"Skipped today" is recorded and never scored, because a step that did not happen is not a step that went badly. A month with nothing logged shows no bar, not a zero.

Seven tabs. Every formula built in. Sample data included so you can see the whole thing working before you clear it and start your own.

OR USE PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOUR OWN

For a lot of children a photograph of the actual bathroom sink works where a drawing of a generic sink does not. The Word file in this kit is where that happens: 36 photo cards, 18 word-only cards, a blank board, a First → Then page and a photo checklist - every picture and every word replaceable.

Right-click → Change Picture in Word. Click → Replace image in Google Docs. The new photo takes the old one's size, so the grid does not move.

Nothing uploads anywhere. Your photos stay on your computer.

SCRIPTS FOR THE MOMENTS BETWEEN THE STEPS

The 20-page guide is the half that is usually missing. Word for word, so the wording is the same on the good mornings and the bad ones:

  • Leaving somewhere they are enjoying
  • Turning off a screen
  • Something has changed today
  • Waiting
  • Coming to the table
  • The last step of bedtime
  • The school gate
  • Getting out of the bath

Plus preparation for six places: the dentist, a haircut, the doctor, the grocery store, flying, a birthday party. Each one lists the cards to have out and what to say at each point, including what not to say.

Plus a three-week start plan, how to choose which steps go on the board, eight things that go wrong and the usual reason, how to use the tracker, what to take to a meeting, and a full index of all 204 cards so you can find any wording without hunting through the sheets.

WORKS WITH

  • The PDFs: any printer. US Letter, 100% scale, color or black and white - the art is line work and reads the same either way.
  • The Word file: Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages, LibreOffice Writer.
  • The spreadsheet: Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. No add-ons, no macros, nothing to install. Google Sheets: File → Import → Upload.

PLEASE NOTE

  • An organizational tool, not a therapeutic, medical or educational intervention. Work with your child's own care team.
  • This is not therapy, not a treatment, not an assessment and not an educational program, and nothing in it is advice about your child's development, learning or behavior. Visual schedules and picture cards are widely used in homes and classrooms to make the shape of a day visible; that is the whole of what this kit does. We make no claim about what it will change.
  • A note on wording: this kit uses identity-first language ("autistic child"), which most autistic adults say they prefer. If your family prefers person-first language, the editable file lets you change every word we wrote.
  • The tracker only ever needs a first name. If the file is going to travel between home, school and appointments, decide in advance what belongs in it.
  • Digital download. No physical item is shipped. Because of the nature of instant downloads, all sales are final - but message us if anything is wrong and we will fix it.
  • For one family's personal use. Please do not resell, redistribute or share the files.
  • Designed and written by us, with the illustrations drawn in code specifically for this kit - no stock clip art. Built with the assistance of AI tools and then manually reviewed: every spreadsheet formula was checked against an independent calculation, and every page was proofed before release.
